of <h1>India Exempts COVID-19 Supplies from Public Procurement Preference Order 2017 Until September 30, 2021.</h1> The Government of India has exempted the procurement of supplies necessary for containing the COVID-19 pandemic from the Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India) Order, 2017. This exemption, issued by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, will remain in effect until September 30, 2021.
