<h1>India Expands National Industrial Corridor Programme to Boost Manufacturing, Employment, and Global Value Chain Positioning.</h1> The Government of India is advancing the National Industrial Corridor Programme to develop greenfield industrial cities, enhancing the nation's manufacturing and investment appeal. The Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is the flagship project with significant progress in nodes like Dholera, ShendraBidkin, Greater Noida, and VikramUdyogpuri. Approval has been granted for 11 corridors comprising 32 projects across four phases to boost connectivity and infrastructure. The aim is to increase industrial output, employment, and living standards while positioning India in the Global Value Chain. Employment figures reached 9,000 and 8,000 in 2018-19 and 2019-20, respectively.
