of <h1>Cabinet Approves MSP Hikes for Rabi Crops: Wheat, Barley, Gram, Lentil, Rapeseed, and Safflower Prices Increased.</h1> The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs approved the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for Rabi crops for the 2011-12 season, to be marketed in 2012-13. The MSP for wheat increased by Rs.165 to Rs.1285 per quintal. Barley saw an increase of Rs.200, set at Rs.980 per quintal. Gram and lentil MSPs were set at Rs.2800 per quintal, reflecting increases of Rs.700 and Rs.550, respectively. Rapeseed/mustard and safflower MSPs were both raised by Rs.650 and Rs.700, respectively, to Rs.2500 per quintal.
