<h1>National Productivity Council Gains ISO 17020:2012 Accreditation for Food Safety and Agricultural Storage Inspections in India.</h1> The National Productivity Council (NPC), under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, India, has received ISO 17020:2012 accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Certification Body (NABCB). This accreditation, valid for three years, allows NPC to conduct inspections and audits in food safety and agricultural storage. NPC, already recognized by the Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WDRA) and the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), can now perform independent third-party audits of food business operators and warehouse inspections in compliance with relevant regulations.
