<h1>India Launches First Trial Shipment of Fresh Vegetables from Varanasi to Dubai, Boosting Agri Exports.</h1> The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) has initiated the first trial shipment of fresh vegetables from Varanasi to Dubai by sea, marking a significant step in promoting agricultural exports from India. This effort involves setting up Agri Export Hubs in five districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Ghazipur and Varanasi. APEDA organized an Export Promotion Programme and Buyer Seller Meet to connect local farmers with exporters, resulting in a Memorandum of Understanding with Fresh Vegetables and Fruits Exporters Association for sourcing produce. A dedicated project office and committee will oversee infrastructure and supply chain development.
