ICSI Delares Ressults for the Company Secretaries Examinations Held in June, 2011

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has today declared the results of Company Secretaries Examinations held in June, 2011 here in New Delhi today and released to all the Regional and Chapter Offices of the institute throughout the country for information of students and general public. This result is available on the internet at Institute's website www.icsi.edu. along with subject wise break-up of marks.

It may be noted that the ICSI, as a step forward to fulfil its "go green" initiative aimed at providing prompt services, conserving energy, paper management and making prudent use of natural resources and information technology, has introduced facility of downloading of e-result-cum-marks statement by the examinees of foundation programme and executive programme from june, 2011 examination results onwards. the results are sent through e-mail by the institute to such of those students who had registered their requests along with their e-mail ids on the institute’s website.

The next Examinations of Company Secretaries for Foundation Programme, Executive Programme and Professional Programme will be held from Monday, the 26th December, 2011 to Monday, the 2nd January, 2012 for which the last date for receipt of enrolment applications together with requisite examination fee is 26th September, 2011 (25th September being holiday).

ICSI is a statutory professional body constituted under the Company Secretaries Act, 1980 (Act No. 56 of 1980) passed by the Parliament of India. ICSI is the only recognized professional body to develop and regulate the profession of Company Secretaries in India. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India awards the certificate bestowing the designation of Company Secretary (CS) to a candidate qualifying for the membership of the Institute. ICSI has its headquarters at New Delhi and four regional offices at New Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata and Mumbai.

Statutory professional body declares examination results and introduces e-result facility for candidates ahead of enrollment deadline. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a statutory professional body, declared June 2011 examination results with subject-wise mark breakups available online and through regional offices. From June 2011 examinations onwards, Foundation and Executive Programme examinees may download an e-result-cum-marks statement and receive results by e-mail if registered, under the institute's 'go green' initiative. The next examination cycle for Foundation, Executive and Professional Programmes is scheduled for late December to early January, with the enrolment application deadline set for 26 September.
