Discussions between IBCCI's President and the Trade Promotion Council of India's Director highlighted efforts to attract buyers from SAARC countries. Participants will include major buyers from GCC and CIS countries. Bangladesh aims to source fruits, spices, and oils from India, especially from the North Eastern states. Indusfood-II, scheduled for January 2019 in Greater Noida, expects 600 global buyers and 350 Indian exporters, building on the success of Indusfood-I, which generated $650 million in business.
