<h1>Indian Coffee Exports Reach Record High of 3.95 Lakh Metric Tonnes in 2017-18, Boosting Revenue to Rs. 6,210 Crores.</h1> Indian coffee, renowned for its high quality, has seen a surge in international demand, reaching a record export of 3.95 lakh metric tonnes in 2017-18. Key markets include Germany, Indonesia, the USA, Poland, Libya, Spain, Tunisia, Ukraine, Italy, and Belgium. Over the past three years, exports have steadily increased, with values rising from Rs. 5,160.50 crores in 2015-16 to Rs. 6,210.00 crores in 2017-18. Coffee remains primarily an export commodity for India, with domestic consumption accounting for only 25% to 30% of production, minimally affecting domestic prices. This was disclosed by a government official in a parliamentary session.
