<h1>Copyright Board Reconstituted: Retired Justice Appointed Chairman, 14 Ex-Officio Members Included, Effective July 15, 2011.</h1> The Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, has reconstituted the Copyright Board under section 11 of the Copyright Act, 1957. A retired justice has been appointed as Chairman for five years or until further notice, starting July 15, 2011. The board includes fourteen ex-officio members: two Joint Secretaries from the Central Government, seven State Government Law Secretaries, and three Directors or Vice Chancellors from National Law Institutes, along with Directors from the Indian Law Institute and the Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi.
