<h1>PPPAC Approves Six Highway Expansion Projects Worth Rs. 9773.85 Crores Across Five Indian States in 44th Meeting.</h1> The Public Private Partnership Appraisal Committee (PPPAC) approved six infrastructure projects worth Rs. 9773.85 crores during its forty-fourth meeting on June 20, 2011. These projects, proposed by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, span five Indian states and include highway expansions in Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Orissa, and Madhya Pradesh. Since its establishment in 2006, the PPPAC has approved 226 projects with a total estimated cost of Rs. 224464.51 crores, covering sectors such as national highways, ports, airports, housing, tourism infrastructure, railways, and sports stadia.
