<h1>DGFT June 2011 Updates: Export Exemptions, New Caps, and Procedure Amendments for Edible Oils, Wheat Flour, and More.</h1> The Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) issued several notifications in June 2011. Key changes include exemptions for exporting organic edible oils, pulses, lentils, and sugar, each with a 10,000 MTs annual ceiling. Export permissions were granted for wheat flour and stone aggregate to the Maldives under a bilateral agreement. The export cap for cotton was increased, and the minimum export price for onions was adjusted. Amendments were made to the Handbook of Procedures and the DEPB Scheme was extended. Additionally, new procedures for barcoding and guidelines under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act were introduced.
