<h1>RBI Sets US Dollar Reference Rate at Rs. 64.0683 for August 1, 2017; Euro and Pound Rates Increase.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US Dollar at Rs. 64.0683 on August 1, 2017, slightly down from Rs. 64.0773 on July 31, 2017. The exchange rates for other major currencies against the Rupee on these dates were as follows: the Euro increased from Rs. 75.2203 to Rs. 75.7415, the British Pound rose from Rs. 84.1591 to Rs. 84.6214, and 100 Japanese Yen went from Rs. 57.98 to Rs. 58.12. The SDR-Rupee rate will be determined based on this reference rate.
