        <h1>India Updates Business Rules: Logistics Sector Now Under Commerce Ministry for Exporter Support.</h1> The Government of India has amended the Allocation of Business Rules, 1961, to include the Integrated Development of the Logistics Sector under the Department of Commerce within the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. This change, announced via a notification dated July 6, 2017, aims to establish a separate logistics unit specifically for exporters. The Commerce and Industry Minister provided this information in a written response to the Rajya Sabha.
