<h1>MDA Scheme Provided Financial Support for Export Promotion, Now Merged with MAI Scheme, Focused on Latin American Markets.</h1> Under the Marketing Development Assistance (MDA) Scheme, financial support was provided to Export Promotion Councils and Trade Promotion Organizations to aid exporters with exports up to Rs. 30 crore, particularly for events in the Latin American and Caribbean region. This assistance covered participation in approved international export promotion events, including airfare and space rental costs, and supported domestic and international export promotion activities. Financial assistance disbursed over three years was Rs. 50 crore in 2014-15, Rs. 48.74 crore in 2015-16, and Rs. 45.93 crore in 2016-17. The MDA Scheme has since been merged with the Market Access Initiative (MAI) Scheme.
