The USA and Southeast Asia were the largest importers, with the EU showing significant demand growth. Frozen shrimp was the leading export, making up 38.28% of the quantity and 64.50% of earnings. Shrimp exports rose by 16.21% in quantity and 20.33% in value. Frozen fish was the second largest export. Increased production, species diversification, and improved infrastructure contributed to this growth. Major ports like Vizag and Kochi saw significant increases in marine cargo handling compared to the previous year.
