<h1>Delhi's Pragati Maidan to Transform into World-Class Exhibition Center with Hotel and Tunnel by 2019.</h1> The Pragati Maidan Complex in Delhi is set to be redeveloped into a world-class Integrated Exhibition-cum-Convention Centre (IECC) at a cost of approximately Rs. 2,500 crore. Announced by the India Trade Promotion Organisation and NBCC (India) Limited, the project will feature modern architectural designs, including a 32.4-meter tall convention center with a capacity of 7,000 people, multiple meeting rooms, and a 500-key hotel. The redevelopment includes traffic decongestion measures and a six-lane tunnel to improve access. The project aims to be completed by mid-2019, with statutory approvals mostly secured and construction slated to begin in July 2017.
