<h1>Strategic disinvestment: oversight established to vet valuation and transaction processes and to address stakeholder grievances.</h1> The disinvestment policy provides for minority stake sales in listed CPSEs while retaining government majority and management control, and for strategic disinvestment with transfer of management control. An Independent External Monitor has been constituted to vet valuation, oversee transaction processes, examine grievances, and consider matters referred by the Government. Certain CPSEs have been identified for minority stake sale and in principle approvals given for strategic disinvestment, with specific approvals to follow case by case.
