of <h1>RBI Updates US Dollar Reference Rate to Rs. 66.7375; Euro, Pound, Yen Exchange Rates Adjusted Accordingly on Feb 28, 2017.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US Dollar at Rs. 66.7375 on February 28, 2017, slightly up from Rs. 66.7249 on February 27, 2017. Consequently, the exchange rates for the Euro, British Pound, and Japanese Yen against the Indian Rupee were updated. On February 28, 2017, 1 Euro equaled Rs. 70.7151, 1 British Pound equaled Rs. 83.0548, and 100 Japanese Yen equaled Rs. 59.35. These rates are determined based on the US Dollar reference rate and the middle rates of cross-currency quotes. The SDR-Rupee rate is also aligned with this reference rate.
