Concerns were raised during Ministerial dialogues, the Strategic and Commercial Dialogue in August 2016, and the Trade Policy Forum in October 2016. India also challenged the US visa fee hike at the WTO, focusing on L-1 and H-1B visa fees and numerical commitments. Additionally, discussions on a bilateral Totalization Agreement are ongoing. Both nations aim to facilitate professional movement and India plans to continue these efforts with the new US administration.
