<h1>RBI Sets US Dollar Reference Rate at Rs. 66.5559; Euro at Rs. 74.4428, Pound at Rs. 85.3180 on Oct 4, 2016.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US Dollar at Rs. 66.5559 on October 4, 2016, up from Rs. 66.5330 the previous day. The exchange rates for other currencies against the Rupee on October 4 were as follows: 1 Euro was Rs. 74.4428, 1 British Pound was Rs. 85.3180, and 100 Japanese Yen were Rs. 65.08. These rates are derived from the US Dollar reference rate and the middle rates of cross-currency quotes. The SDR-Rupee rate is also based on this reference rate.
