Launched on Gandhi Jayanthi 2016, SPICe aims to streamline company incorporation in India by offering a fully digital process aligned with international standards. It includes standard e-Memorandum and e-Articles of Association formats under the Companies Act, 2013, and allows for linked e-form submissions. The initiative is designed to improve back-office efficiency and will replace existing forms INC-29 and INC-7, making SPICe the sole form for company incorporation.
