<h1>RBI Sets US Dollar Reference Rate at Rs. 67.0248; Euro, Pound, Yen Rates Also Announced.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US Dollar at Rs. 67.0248 on September 15, 2016, up from Rs. 66.9642 the previous day. Corresponding exchange rates for other currencies against the Rupee were also announced: the Euro was at Rs. 75.3627, the British Pound at Rs. 88.7073, and 100 Japanese Yen at Rs. 65.58. These rates are determined based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of cross-currency quotes. The Special Drawing Rights (SDR) to Rupee rate will also be based on this reference rate.
