<h1>India to Auction Government Securities Worth Rs. 14,000 Crore on September 9, 2016; Includes New and Re-Issued Stocks.</h1> The Government of India announced the sale and re-issue of various government securities through auctions. These include a new security maturing in December 2022 for Rs. 2,000 crore, and re-issues of 7.61% stock for 2030 at Rs. 8,000 crore, 7.50% stock for 2034 at Rs. 2,000 crore, and 8.17% stock for 2044 at Rs. 2,000 crore. The Reserve Bank of India will conduct these auctions on September 9, 2016, using a multiple price method. Up to 5% of the stocks will be allocated to eligible individuals and institutions under a non-competitive bidding scheme, with results announced the same day.
