<h1>Coffee and Tea Boards Boost Productivity and Quality; Special Support for Small Growers in Non-Traditional Areas.</h1> The Coffee Board and Tea Board have implemented development projects to enhance production, productivity, and quality. The Coffee Board's Integrated Coffee Development Project has increased productivity from 846 kg/Ha in 2012-13 to 876 kg/Ha in 2015-16, spending Rs. 464.30 crore. The Tea Board's initiatives have boosted productivity from 2017 kg/Ha to 2176 kg/Ha, with Rs. 625.55 crore spent. Both boards promote exports through various activities, issue licenses, and regulate industry practices. Special assistance is provided to small growers, particularly in non-traditional regions. These efforts were detailed by a government minister in a written Lok Sabha reply.
