<h1>India and Nigeria Partner to Launch First Apparel Training Centre in Kaduna to Boost Cotton Textile Industry.</h1> An Apparel Training Centre has been established in Kaduna, Nigeria, as part of the Cotton Technical Assistance Programme for Africa, implemented by the Department of Commerce, Government of India under the 2nd India Africa Forum Summit. This center, the first of its kind in Nigeria, was inaugurated on June 22, 2016, in partnership with the Nigerian government. It aims to support Nigeria's efforts to rebuild the cotton textile value chain and address the skilled workforce needs for both domestic and export-oriented apparel industries in West Africa.
