<h1>Company Boards Can Decide on Carrying Forward Unspent CSR Funds to Next Year, Says Ministry of Corporate Affairs.</h1> The Ministry of Corporate Affairs clarified that company boards can decide whether to carry forward unspent amounts from the minimum required Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) expenditure to the next financial year. This applies uniformly to all CSR-eligible companies, including Public Sector Undertakings, under the Companies Act, 2013. This clarification was provided by the Minister of Corporate Affairs in a written response to a question in the Rajya Sabha.
