<h1>CCI Faces 72 Vacancies Due to Eligibility Issues; 65 Positions Advertised, 38 Experts Engaged to Assist.</h1> The Competition Commission of India (CCI) has a sanctioned strength of 197 positions, including the Director General's office. Currently, 125 positions are filled, leaving 72 vacancies. The vacancies are due to a lack of candidates meeting the eligibility criteria in the Recruitment Rules. To address this, CCI has advertised to fill 65 positions across various levels. Additionally, 38 Experts and Research Associates in Economics, Law, and Financial Analysis have been engaged to assist the Commission. This information was provided by the Minister of Corporate Affairs in a written reply to the Rajya Sabha.
