        <h1>Reference rate for US dollar updated; governs cross currency rupee quotes and determines the SDR rupee rate.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India published the US dollar reference rate and the immediately preceding rate; it used that reference rate with middle cross currency quotes to determine exchange rates for the euro, pound sterling and Japanese yen against the rupee, and specified that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
