Previously allowed due to manual wage calculations, the grace period is now deemed unnecessary as employers can compute wages and liabilities electronically and make payments via internet banking. Starting February 2016, employers must pay contributions within fifteen days of the month's end, aligning with the EPF MP Act 1952 requirements. This change is approved by the Central P.F. Commissioner.
