He highlighted the need for state governments to raise awareness about the Atal Pension Yojana (APY) to maximize its coverage before the government co-contribution deadline of December 31, 2015. The conference aimed to address gaps in NPS implementation and improve compliance. Despite challenges, the NPS has over 1.02 crore subscribers with assets exceeding Rs. 1,05,000 crores. All states except Tripura and West Bengal have notified the NPS.
