The corresponding rate for the previous day (September 07, 2015) was ₹ 66.7445.

Publication of a daily Reference Rate for the US Dollar provides the benchmark used to compute cross currency rupee rates; the euro, pound sterling and yen rupee rates are derived from that reference and the SDR Rupee rate is stated to be based on the same published reference.
