From 2011-12 to 2014-15, tea exports ranged from 214.35 to 225.76 million kilograms, earning between 690.14 to 746.46 million USD. The Tea Board, in collaboration with state governments, supports tea producers through the Tea Development and Promotion Scheme, offering financial and technical assistance for various production and marketing activities.
