<h1>India and Qatar Sign Agreements on Prisoner Transfer, ICT Cooperation, and Media Exchange During Emir's Visit.</h1> During the visit of the Emir of Qatar to India, several agreements and MoUs were exchanged between the Indian External Affairs Minister and the Qatari counterpart. These include an agreement on the transfer of sentenced persons, allowing prisoners to serve sentences in their home countries, and an MoU for cooperation in Information and Communication Technology, enhancing business opportunities for India's IT sector in Qatar. Other MoUs cover scientific cooperation in meteorology, diplomatic training exchanges, radio and television program sharing, and mutual cooperation in news exchange between Qatari News Agency and United News of India.
