<h1>Top 10 Companies Hold 15.3% of Total Assets in 2014; Major Conglomerate Leads with Rs. 3.67 Lakh Crore.</h1> As of March 31, 2014, the top ten companies by asset value, from a pool of 415,886 companies, held 15.3% of the total assets, amounting to Rs. 17,88,986.76 crore out of Rs. 117.08 lakh crore. The leading company was a major conglomerate with assets worth Rs. 3,67,583 crore, followed by a state-owned oil corporation with Rs. 2,52,413.78 crore. Other notable companies included a housing finance corporation, power finance entities, and a telecommunications company. This information was disclosed by the Minister of Corporate Affairs in response to a parliamentary question.
