Reference rate for US dollar sets the benchmark used to derive rupee exchange rates for euro, pound and yen. Reference rate for the US dollar was published at a specified rupee value, serving as the baseline for calculating rupee exchange rates for the euro, pound sterling and the Japanese yen using middle cross currency quotes; the prior day comparator is noted and the SDR rupee rate will be based on the stated reference rate.
