Led by India's Minister of Commerce and Industry and Oman's Minister of Commerce and Industry, the discussions focused on economic cooperation and expanding trade relations. A delegation visit to Oman is planned for December. The meeting resulted in signing a Memorandum of Understanding on Standards and Metrology and an Agreement on Legal and Judicial Cooperation. Bilateral trade between the countries exceeded $5.70 billion in 2013-14, with significant contributions from the Indian community in Oman. Both nations aim to explore new areas for economic collaboration.
