<h1>RBI Sets US Dollar Reference Rate at Rs. 61.3175; Euro, Pound, Yen Rates Against Rupee Also Released.</h1> The Reserve Bank of India set the reference rate for the US Dollar at Rs. 61.3175 on October 29, 2014, slightly down from Rs. 61.3524 the previous day. The exchange rates for other major currencies against the Rupee were also released: the Euro was valued at Rs. 78.1430, the British Pound at Rs. 99.0032, and 100 Japanese Yen at Rs. 56.76. These rates are determined based on the US Dollar reference rate and cross-currency quotes. The Special Drawing Rights (SDR) to Rupee rate will be calculated using this reference rate.
