The corresponding rate for the previous day (September 23, 2014) was ₹ 60.8708.

Based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate of EUR, GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference Rate for US Dollar published, with derived rupee exchange rates for euro, pound and yen. The Reserve Bank released the Reference Rate for the US Dollar and the prior day's figure as the official rupee benchmark. Using that reference rate and middle cross currency quotes, the Bank published derived rupee exchange rates for the euro, pound sterling and yen, and stated that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
