of <h1>CBDT Extends Advance Tax Deadline to December 15, 2014, for Jammu & Kashmir Due to Natural Calamities.</h1> The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the deadline for the payment of the September 2014 advance tax installment for taxpayers in Jammu and Kashmir due to severe natural calamities. The new deadline for companies' second installment and others' first installment for the fiscal year 2014-15 is now 15th December 2014, instead of 15th September 2014. This extension allows taxpayers in the region to make their payments without incurring any interest for the delay.
