The corresponding rate for the previous day (September 17, 2014) was ₹ 60.9540

Based on the reference rate for the US Dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rate of EUR, GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate for US dollar updated; cross-currency middle rates set euro, pound and yen exchange rates against rupee. The Reserve Bank of India published an updated reference rate for the US dollar and provided corresponding cross-currency exchange rates for euro, pound sterling and yen based on middle rates of cross-currency quotes, and stated that the SDR Rupee rate will be derived from the US dollar reference rate.
