        India and Malaysia has signed a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement (CECA) on 18.2.2011 which has come into effect from 1.7.2011. The Agreement includes chapters on Trade in Goods, Trade in Services, Investment and other areas of economic cooperation. Details of the Agreement are available in public domain.

        India and Malaysia agreed to target a bilateral trade volume of US$ 15 billion by 2015.

        The information was given by the Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman in a written reply in Rajya Sabha today.
