The initiative will support software startups and establish a National Rural Internet and Technology Mission with a Rs. 500 crore initial fund. Additionally, a Rs. 100 crore budget is allocated to promote good governance and support 600 new and existing community radio stations. The Film Television Institute in Pune and Satyajit Ray Film Television Institute in Kolkata will gain national importance status, and a National Centre for Excellence in Animation, Gaming, and Special Effects will be established.
