The Finance Minister will present the General Budget 2014-15 on 10th July, 2014 at 11.00 a.m. in Lok Sabha, while Economic Survey 2013-14 will be laid in Parliament on 9th July, 2014. The copies of General Budget & Economic Survey will be available with PIB and supplied to media persons at the designated places in Parliament House as well as at National Media Centre. These documents will be distributed against specific ‘Authority Slips’. The Authority Slips for Economic Survey & General Budget can be collected by accredited correspondents from Director (Press Facility), PIB, Room No. 107, National Media Centre, New Delhi from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on 3rd & 4th July, 2014. Authority Slips will be given against PIB accreditation cards only (one slip on one card).

Budget distribution procedure: access to General Budget and Economic Survey copies is limited to accredited correspondents with authority slips. Copies of the General Budget and Economic Survey will be distributed at designated locations against specific authority slips; those slips may be collected by accredited correspondents only, during specified hours and dates, and are issued one per press accreditation card.
