The Minister added that now, the Indian Missions abroad will be more sensitised and the problems, issues faced by Indians abroad can be addressed in a more effective and fruitful manner because the work and function can be coordinated better.

Smt. Swaraj said, the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas will now be organized in a more vibrant way so that PIOs and NRIs can participate in it, involve themselves with it emotionally and can connect themselves with the country of their origin.

Diaspora engagement: strengthening PIO and NRI connections through coordinated ministries and enhanced consular outreach and events.
