The Central Government has nominated Shri Gurdial Singh Sandhu, Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, New Delhi as a director on the Central Board of Directors of the Reserve Bank of India vice Shri Rajiv Takru. Shri Sandhu's nomination is with effect from April 1, 2014 and until further orders.
