The Reserve Bank of India’s Reference Rate for the US dollar is Rs. 60.9850 and the Reference Rate for Euro is Rs. 84.5255 on March 07, 2014. The corresponding rates for the previous day (March 06, 2014) were Rs. 61.3242 and Rs. 84.1866 respectively. Based on the Reference Rate for the US dollar and the middle rates of the cross-currency quotes, the exchange rates of GBP and JPY against the Rupee are given below:

Reference rate published: US dollar and euro rates announced, with derived pound and yen exchange rates based on them. The Reserve Bank of India published Reference Rates for the US dollar and the euro on March 7, 2014, comparing them with the previous day's values; it also provided derived pound sterling and Japanese yen exchange rates using the US dollar reference and cross currency middle rates, and stated that the SDR Rupee rate will be based on the published reference rate.
