This is part of an $800 million Rural Connectivity Investment Program, aiming to construct 3,693 kilometers of all-weather roads, benefiting around 1,800 rural communities. The project, executed by the Ministry of Rural Development and respective state agencies, focuses on improving infrastructure, road design, safety, and asset management. The loan, with a 25-year term, includes a $81.56 million contribution from the Indian government, with completion expected by June 2017.
