The Export Promotion Mission launches a pilot intervention to strengthen MSME access to alternative trade finance by supporting export factoring (recourse and non-recourse) provided by entities regulated by relevant financial regulators; the scheme offers an interest subvention (notified at 2.75%) on the discount/interest cost element and disburses claims to IEC linked bank accounts. Eligibility requires active IEC and Udyam registration (not on DEL), factoring against a notified positive HS six digit tariff list, and compliance with online declaration, claim and reporting procedures. An annual ceiling of 50 Lakh per MSME applies; operational guidelines, governance and claim procedure issued for stakeholder feedback.
