The Customs authority at Visakhapatnam implemented the ICETAB mobile application to streamline the export clearance process by enabling examining officers to file examination reports electronically and in real time. This Android-based tool integrates with the ICES system, allowing officers to access shipping bill details, supporting documents, RMS instructions, and examination orders directly from customs cargo sheds. The initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and expedite export clearance procedures.
