Customs duty rates have been revised for various agricultural products, aquafarming and marine exports, critical minerals, steel sector, copper, chemicals and plastics, textile and leather sector, cancer drugs, precious metals, medical equipment, IT and electronics sector, renewable energy sector, shipping, and capital goods. Export duty has been simplified and rationalized for raw skins, hides, and leather. Duty rates have been reduced on certain items to promote domestic manufacturing and exports, while increased on some goods to provide reasonable protection to domestic industry.
